I have started a new career working for the BC Egg Marketing Board. My new job is essentially an auditor. Making sure the producers follow bio-security protocols and are not exceeding their quota. My title is Producer Liaison Officer.

Boxing day

The day after Christmas.  A day to do what? lay around, go shopping, recover from the Christmas craziness?  I find myself contemplating the upcoming year.  What do I want to change? What do I keep the same?  Never an easy thing to think about.  we all wonder at times what our future holds and in this day and age of unstable economies, natural tragedies and apocalyptic predictions for the upcoming year it throws a twist into the usual thought process.  I am not a doomsday type of person and am not expecting the world to end next December.  I would call myself an optimistic realist, but I find myself thinking of self improvement.  I know I need to get into better shape, pursue my hobbies more and just change the way I have been approaching life this past while.  No more excuses for laziness and for staying the same as I have been for the past years.  I look at half finished renovations, a growing belly and growing apathy.  I need to make the changes because I am the only one that can, and I am not talking about making a New Years resolution.  Do not believe in them,  if a change needs to be made it needs to be started asap not a week from now or a month because from my experience it never happens.  So here is to a new season in my life.  One of self improvement, self motivation and new experiences.  I look forward to sharing and and hearing your thoughts as the journey of my life moves forward.

Still Proud

Was looking over my photo’s of some of the work that I have done.  I am very proud of it and glad that I took some time and did the tile work.  Was more then ready to move on but still miss the hands on, get my knees dirty work.  Still plenty to do around my own place to quell those urges I am sure.

Things will be changing here soon.

In the near future I will be starting along a new career path.  This page will be more personal then business. Blogs, interests etc.

Different types and sizes of travertine tiles used in a newly built house in the McMillan area of Abbotsford. Also shown is a hardwood floor I assisted with installing; though I can install various types of flooring, I work primarily with tile and stone.

This 18-inch porcelain floor tile and 12-inch ceramic wall tile was used in a home renovation project for a house in the Highlands development in Abbotsford.

Thanks for Stopping By!
